The Noticer

Buy this book. Read it, no, devour it.
I cannot say this loudly enough… “Buy this book. Read it, no, devour it. Buy one for each of your children and for anyone else who you love. But most importantly, put what you learn into action.”
Andy Andrews has an amazing gift, that of story-telling. When I got my advanced copy, knowing I had 5 days to read about 170 pages, I planned to read 50 a day and then write this review. So I started on my first 50 pages and the, a few hours later, I put it down – finished. A corny phrase I know, but it truly was un-put-downable.
Buy one for each of your children and for anyone else who you love.
If I had a complaint about the book it would be the use of a couple of well known and old parables, (the fork and the love languages), but Andrews’ ability to weave them into a new story make those chapters still immensely worthwhile.
But to highlight such minor issues in a book as good as this is almost criminal. My copy is already covered with notes to myself and I plan to keep it close and re-read it often.
I commend Andy Andrews for writing this and Thomas Nelson for bringing this to us. Definitely a 5 star recommendation.
